Biography
Nate is a principal at Infinium Capital Management a proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, New York and London. For seven years Nate has been an active director of Infinium most recently leading the market making business unit. Nate started Infinium’s energy business growing it into a leader in the space. Infinium was recently named as one of the top 20 firms to work for in Chicago and is widely recognized as a leader in the proprietary trading space.

Nate is an investor and adviser to Carbon Solutions Group a renewable energy project developer and serves as an adviser to Vernon & Park Capital and IA Ventures. He is a partner in Acumen Fund a “patient capital” fund for the developing world based in New York and a member of the TED community.

Nate started his first company in college and built a portfolio of successful technology companies in the following years. The portfolio was focused on software firms with unique intellectual property many of them holding patents on a business process.

He holds a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nate also holds a Chicago Management Institute Certificate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in addition to completing the Executive Seminar at the Aspen Institute.

He lives in Chicago with his wife Kris and their neurotic dog.
